We are glad you are here. Battle Forged began not only as an idea but a feeling and lifestyle. As a combat veteran and full time firefighter there were times and certain adversities I thought I would never make it through. Not only physically but emotionally as well. I never could quite find words to describe how I felt after pushing through and coming out on the other side of each BATTLE. It was like a new, harder version of myself remained.

Our family was tested in July 2010 when my youngest son was seriously attacked by a dog. He suffered multiple lacerations to his face. As I sat holding his little hand through surgery the response he gave after struck me to my core. Only 3 years old at the time and with that precious baby voice he looked at me and said “I was brave daddy wasn’t I” in that moment I realized he was now a new, harder version of himself. That painful experience FORGED him into the brave, loving, never give up kid he is today.

Everyone has personal battles they must endure, its how you handle them and what is left of yourself that defines you. My favorite quote is “never be ashamed of your scars, they only mean you were stronger then what tried to hurt you.” Battle Forged embodies the warrior in us all.
